SEND Groups
The London Museum of Water & Steam is a welcoming Museum, where you can come as you are. There’s lots to see, smell, explore and investigate.
Our fully facilitated SEND visits include a sensory exploration of the Museum and a Science Show or workshop tailored to the needs of your group. There is also lots for your pupils to explore, see and do. Our Learning Team are passionate about offering inclusive learning opportunities to all, and will work closely with you to ensure we meet the needs of your group.
Visits for SEND groups take place from 10:00 to 14:00 and cost £250 per group of up to 20 children. As we are a small museum, we only welcome one school per day, so the Museum is your space to enjoy and explore.
Our interactive Science Shows and workshops
Super Soggy Science Show
This interactive and fun show explores where water comes from, the ‘monster soup’ of 200 years ago, and how we can clean water using a simple filter!
Water Filtration
In this hand-on workshop, pupils will learn about the importance of clean drinking water, and work as a team to create their own filtration beds, observing and sharing their results.
