Choo Choo! Next stop is half term fun at the London Museum of Water & Steam! Join us every day for wonderful train themed activities including storytelling, crafts, model railways. We’re open every day, 10am to 4pm, from Saturday 27 May to Sunday 4 June.

Why do trains hear so well? – Because they have engineers! Become a mini engineer at our Art Attack sessions in the Boulton and Watt Engine Room. Bring in your recycling and help us to build and decorate the biggest ever train out of old boxes, milk cartons and cardboard tubes.
Building on May 27, 31, June 2. On days we are not building join in on the creativity and colour our recycled train.
Our friends from the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers will be here from May 27 to 31. Enjoy the wonderful model trains in full steam on a purpose-built track in the Steam Hall.
On May 29 Pollinating London Together will be hosting an event in the museum garden from 11am to 3pm. Activities include building bee hotels, pollinator id and counts, pollinator shopping game and a bubble disco.
Our steam locomotive, Thomas Wicksteed, will be welcoming passengers this May half term! Suggested donation per family is £3.
The train will be running Saturday May 27.
Good things come to those who freight! Join us for our new play sessions where we’ll be designing our own railway tracks, building stations out of recycled materials and most importantly, playing with trains!
Playing Tuesday to Friday, May 30 to June 2.
There will be storytelling sessions throughout the week, and Musical Mark is back for his wonderful story and song times on Sunday 28 May at 2pm!
There are ongoing roadworks on Kew Bridge Road to extend the Cycleway 9 which may cause some disruption to your journey. Plan ahead, and allow yourself a little extra time to get here just in case!
