Summer Holidays – Play!
27th August 2023 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
School’s out for summer and it’s time to play! Playtime begins Saturday 22 July and ends Bank Holiday, Monday 28 August. We’ll be open Wednesday to Sunday, plus Bank Holiday Monday, 10am to 4pm.
Most hands on events will run Wednesday to Friday, join us on weekends for special visits from friends of the museum, fun in the splashzone, and building fun in the Waterworks gallery. For specfic about each themed week, head to their event page.
We’re kicking things off with Imagineering where we’ll be using our imagination and taking part in some epic engineering challenges – can you build your own boat using recycled materials from home? And will it sail or sink?
In August we’re exploring Water. How does it move? What can we make with it? How can we play with it? And why does it exist?
The last week in August is Nature Week. Join us for the Big Brentford Bug Hunt and craft activities for all the family.
Throughout summer we have science shows, storytelling and crafts including lots of other events.
Check our website for information about what’s happening each day.
Normal admission applies. School holiday activities are free and do not need to be booked in advance.
