Filming & Photography

The London Museum of Water & Steam is an ideal filming and photography location. Set within a historic pumping station, the Museum provides a perfect backdrops for documentaries and discussion locations.

Filming

The Museum strives to be a film-friendly environment. Whether it is for press or commercial purposes we try to accommodate all reasonable filming requests.

All filming at the Museum must be supervised by a member of the our team. This is to ensure filming goes smoothly, health and safety procedures are adhered to, and that the collection is not put at risk.

Generally fees will apply and these are assessed on a case by case basis. If you are interested in filming at the Museum, please contact us at [email protected]. We will be happy to discuss your request.

All film crews will be required to have public liability insurance when filming on site.

Photography

All members of the public are very welcome to photograph the Museum’s collection as long as the photographs are for personal and non-commercial use. However, all photography intended for commercial use must be coordinated through the museum team.

The London Museum of Water & Steam is an independent Museum and registered charity (No: 269285) which receives no governmental income. All funds raised from filming and photography go directly back into preserving our vital piece of history for generations to come.
