This talk by Stephen Fielding, Heritage Projects Manager for Habitats & Heritage about a project to conserve the mausoleum of Sir Joseph Bazalgette in Wimbledon. The talk will delve into the story of Sir Joseph Bazalgette and his quest to build the London sewer system, the Cholera outbreaks of the 19th century and the history of London’s water supply.
