London Museum of Women in STEM – International Women’s Day

8th March @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Did you know that just over a quarter of the people working in STEM in the UK are female?  Or that in the core STEM subjects around 31% of students in Higher Education in the UK are women or non-binary?

Join us for International Women’s Day as we rebrand for the day as the London Museum of Women in STEM. Take part in a full day of workshops, activities, experiments, Q&As and more as we work to encourage todays youth to consider a future in STEaM! Help us to celebrate and promote girls and women in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

There will be a range of exciting things happening throughout the day- engineering challenges, museum collection workshops, science experiments, behind the scene tours, a Q&A sessions with our museum director Hannah Harte, and more!

This event is aimed at all genders, and all ages, and might be of particular interest to secondary school students who have an interest in STEaM.

*All activities are free to attend, normal museum admission applies. Tickets for the day can be prebooked here.
