London Museum of Women in STEM – International Women’s Day

9th March

Did you know that just over a quarter of the people working in STEM in the UK are female? This year, for International Women’s Day, we’re rebranding for the day as the London Museum of Women in STEM.

Join us for a full day of drop-in workshops, activities, experiments and of course, STEaM. We’re celebrating and promoting girls and women in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

There will be a range of exciting things happening throughout the day, as well as Q&A sessions with some of the women leading the way in the STEM industries. We will be joined by friends and colleagues from Kew Gardens, University West London, Cambridge Museum of Technology, Selfridges, Google, and Worley.

This event is aimed at all genders, and all ages, and might be of particular interest to secondary school students who have an interest in STEaM.

See below for a schedule of some of the main activities. No need to book, just turn up. If you would like to pre book find tickets for the day here.

*We reserve the right to cap numbers of workshops if they become oversubscribed.
