Creative Mile- Brentford Art Trail 2024

1st September @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

We will be open with free entry for the Saturday and Sunday of the Creative Mile! The museum will be hosting 15 local artists on site Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1 from 10am-4pm. See the full list of artists on the Creative Mile Website.

Did you know that the museum has artist studios on site? The studios are based in the original 1838 workshops and a working forge which is used by artist Neil Lemaire. Find him alongside a diverse range of artists, including Claire Ireland, Derek Pearce, Maire Gartland and the Tiny Press. Their studios will be open as part of the Creative Mile weekend on Friday 6-9pm and Sat and Sun 11am-5pm.

Book your FREE admission ticket for the weekend here.

Led by locally based artists and creatives,  Creative Mile is a not for profit, Community Interest Company.

The weekend includes artists and makers from Brentford and across the borough of Hounslow for a weekend of open studios and exhibitions.

Brentford’s Art Trail connects venues along with exhibiting artists, creatives and makers including painters, ceramicists, printmakers, hat makers, mosaic artists, jewellery makers, poets, musicians and sculptors.

As it meanders alongside the Thames, Creative Mile not only offers visitors inspiration (and the opportunity to make a shrewd acquisition), it also affords them a rare glimpse of Brentford’s industrial past as well as a snapshot of today’s vibrant riverside community.
