Creative Mile – Brentford Art Trail 2023
1st September 2023 @ 10:00 am - 3rd September 2023 @ 4:00 pm
Creative Mile is an artist-led celebration of Brentford’s creativity and hidden spaces. The trail, running from Boston Manor Park all the way through Brentford to the London Museum of Water & Steam, explores cultural sites, artist studios and temporary exhibition spaces.
On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September the museum will be free to enter as part of the trail and you’ll also have the chance to ride our famous steam locomotive on the Saturday (tickets £1) – click here for more information.
- Creative Mile is a free event on 1-3 September, and everyone is welcome. In its third year, Creative Mile, the Brentford art trail, showcases over seventy local artists and makers. Last year, over 3,000 people joined in. It’s going to be another big weekend in Brentford.
- From painters to printmakers, hatmakers to ironworks, ceramicists to sculptors, Creative Mile profiles the creative community in Brentford, West London
- With more venues participating this year, there is a mix of old industrial, heritage properties, studios and galleries, arts centre, and museums.
- Water flows through Brentford with the Thames, River Brent, Grand Union canal and these have influenced our past and future. This year we are celebrating water as our artistic theme and Creative Mile is collaborating with the Totally Thames festival. Find out more www.thamesfestivaltrust.org
