Learning & Comunity
Inspiring curiosity, creativity, and connection.
At the London Museum of Water & Steam, we believe learning should be hands-on, inclusive, and rooted in real-world stories. From school visits and community partnerships to family activities and our very own Steam Explorers, we offer engaging experiences that bring history, science, and engineering to life for people of all ages.
School visits
Our curriculum-linked workshops and interactive sessions make the museum the perfect place for learning outside the classroom. Pupils can get up close to our engines, explore the science of water and steam, and take part in fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and build confidence.
Water Conservation Trust Bursary
We understand that one of the barriers to school visits can be cost. Therefore, we are delighted to be able to offer a bursary to visit the Museum thanks to the generous support and funding of the Water Conservation Trust.
Steam explorer
Steam Explorers is our programme for young visitors and their families, offering trails, activities, and events that encourage playful learning through exploration. It’s the perfect way to discover the museum together while having fun and making memories.
