The London Museum of Water & Steam is proud to be hosting a talk by Harbinder Birdi , Partner at Hawkins\Brown Architects. Harbinder will be describing both engineering and architectural designs for the new public realm being created in the Thames as part of the construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel infrastructure project.
Harbinder will be discussing how London’s sewer system has been shaped by the cities growing population and technology utilised by engineers such as Bazalgette. There will be the opportunity to ask questions, buy refreshments, and network at the end of the talk.
The talk will commence at 6pm at the London Museum of Water & Steam. Tickets are available for £5 and can be purchased on the Museum website.
