Spring Steam Up

This Spring enjoy a double steam up at the London Museum of Water & Steam and Kempton Steam Museum and discover the fascinating world of water and steam!
Learn about the history of the Kew Bridge Waterworks and marvel at the amazing pumping engines that helped make London the city it is today. Plus, see some of our unique collection in steam. Then head over to Kempton Steam Museum and see the world’s largest working triple-expansion steam engine, which stands as high as four stacked double-decker buses.
A vintage Routemaster Bus will be providing a Steam Shuttle between the two Museums. Please see the timetable for full details. Donations towards the cost of running the bus will be greatly appreciated.
To help you make the most of your weekend, we’re offering special £16 joint weekend ticket to both museums. Tickets are available from our website.
Steam Up Weekend Tickets are only valid on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March 2022 for entry at the London Museum of Water & Steam (LMWS) and Kempton Steam Museum. Children under 18 go free. LMWS Annual Pass holders are eligible for a concessionary day ticket at Kempton on production of their valid Annual Pass. Pre-booking via the LMWS or Kempton websites is strongly advised.
