Life in the River Thames

Pupils will examine water from the River Thames using scientific equipment to discover the life that lives with in it. How many organisms will you identify?

Learning Outcomes:

  • Pupils will make their own decisions regarding what measurements and observations to make.
  • Pupils will begin to look for causal relationships and identify evidence that supports or refutes their ideas.
  • Pupils will use identification keys to determine different types of organisms.
